Who You Are:
- Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Public company experience is required; experience working at a high-growth technology or SaaS company is preferred; experience taking a company through an IPO is a major plus!
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in revenue recognition standards, particularly ASC 606.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
- Leadership Qualities:
- Proven track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing accounting teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive change, innovate, and lead process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and oversee the global accounting function, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals.
- Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of accurate and comprehensive external and management financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Tax and Treasury Management: Manage global tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. Oversee treasury functions including cash management, forecasting, and investment strategies.
- Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition practices in accordance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
- Team Development: Build, develop, and retain a high-performing global accounting team. Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to foster professional growth and development.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, systems, and infrastructure to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including FP&A, Legal, and Operations, to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Compliance and Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguard company assets.

Base Compensation Range*: $250,000 - $295,000
Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
