About the Team:
The Content organization is responsible for identifying, creating, licensing and integrating best-in-class unstructured and structured data that is both self-sourced and from third party content providers. The various Content teams report to the Chief Content Officer and have strategy, product management, operations and support responsibilities for each Content vertical. We have been experiencing a rapid growth cycle across all content sets. About the Role:
The Program Manager candidate we seek has experience in managing projects and programs related to various types of structured (numerical/data) and unstructured (text/documents) Financial and Industry Content, while understanding the workflows of the consumers: buy-side/sell-side, investment banking, PE/VC, corporates, consulting, and other client types. Projects and programs will include executing on strategic content build and enhancements, product upgrades, migrations from vendor-to-vendor or self-sourced content sets, among others. The role will report into the Director, Content Strategy, Planning & Analysis.
This individual will have a deep understanding of what content matters to these users and will deliver on new content and related partnerships to meet those needs.
Who You Are:
- 12+ years project and program management experience in financial services at a content vendor and/or client with focus on financial and industry content required.
- A proven track record in managing large transformational global projects, and programs across a matrix resource structure, tracking status, managing RAID effectively, and resources across global matrix organization.
- Demonstrated discipline in planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to meet strategic outcomes within defined timeframe and quality standards
- Strong analytical skills, ability to report critical information and patterns from complex data, producing accurate conclusions and recommendations
- A proactive self-starter who is able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the wider team, partners of varying levels of seniority to formulate business program and structure
- A superior ability to set priorities, stay focused and meet deadlines, influential and assertive across project resources to meet deliverables in a timely manner
- Management experience of effective governance, including planning, setting agenda and ability to record accurate and concise minutes, with actions and follow up with stakeholders for timely response
- Clearly communicate project status via tracker and dashboards regularly, for weekly and/or senior management or board level communication
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to understand a concept and visually present impactful insights
- Effective oral and written communication skills working with internal colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels, able to influence and guide
- Experienced working and managing globally distributed teams and partners in different time zones
- Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, assorted document and data delivery types a plus
- Strong analytical skills, tech-savvy and outstanding attention to detail a must
- Solid Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Google Sheets/Google Docs/Google Slides experience
- Experience with different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and industry level approaches and methodologies to support flexibility of execution; certification a plus
What You’ll Do:
- Manage large scale content focused projects and programs, ranging from content build, vendor implementation and migrations, product enhancements and upgrade with associated user migrations, process improvement implementation, among others.
- Identify and manage internal process improvement opportunities, by performing a gap analysis of current and future state processes/workflows, and implementing new processes and optimizing the outcomes by monitoring the results.
- Project manage due diligence analysis of potential new vendors and data sets, working closely with the content product management and partnership managers to identify partners, evaluate and track outcomes and progress.
- Support the build out of business cases/proposals/cost-benefit analysis scenarios to justify programs or projects, and identify, and track ORKs and benefits derived from the programs or projects.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders within the organization and externally, and utilize knowledge of practices and approaches to support project/program objectives, influencing all to reach ultimate goals and outcomes.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and clients to prioritize content demand and strategies
- Clearly communicate project status via tracker and dashboards, circulate meeting minutes and associated actions, and follow up with stakeholders for timely responses.
- Able to challenge and influence constructively whilst maintaining excellent working relationships within the program/project stakeholders at all levels
- Document and timely tracking of (RAID) risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalated where necessary and addressed with key stakeholders for mitigation and resolution.
- Build impactful presentations and dashboards for senior management to support board decks, QBRs, Content Management status updates to internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to understand a concept and visually present meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Run detailed data analysis to build dashboards and reporting in support of project/programs, collaborating with Content Team and Business Intelligence functions.
- Manage and maintain strong new and ongoing relationships with key decision makers, product and technology teams within the organization
- Rapidly get up to speed on AlphaSense, programs, processes and tools and be able to manipulate data effectively.
- Build and maintain governance in project management (e.g. agile, waterfall, etc) and industry level methodologies to support execution of programs supported by Content Strategy, Planning & Analysis team.

Base Compensation Range*: $125,000 - $160,000
Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
