This role is a key part of our existing payroll operational team where you will be assigned a portfolio of global payrolls and be responsible for the processing of these countries payrolls as well as all of the local benefits administration.
A key part of this role is liaising with the HR team and the in-country payroll bureaus to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the payroll cycle. You will also be the main point of contact for all employee queries to the payroll team.
As part of this role, you may also be asked to contribute to any wider payroll projects and assist with the completion of the expenses process that is also overseen by the payroll team.
Responsibilities:
Your main focus will be on the accurate and timely completion of the payroll, your day to day responsibilities will be:
- Working closely with the HR team on receiving and processing payroll changes.
- Maintaining relations with local payroll providers
- Answering employee queries around your countries payroll.
- Processing, reconciling and paying any in country benefits.
- Assisting with year end reporting and audit work in relation to your designated countries.
- Assisting with any global/larger projects where required.
- Assisting with the expenses teams processing of employee expenses including employee queries, auditing and payments when required.
Candidate requirements:
We are looking for someone who wants to develop their skills, we are willing to offer study leave and help with professional courses.
As well as excellent communication skills, being a team player and having an ambitious approach, the successful Payroll specialist will have experience processing end to end payroll and experience with reconciliation. International experience is desired but not a requirement of this role, other skill and experience include:
- Strong Microsoft excel skills and being comfortable with formulae such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF and other functions that may assist with the role (Essential)
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail and able to handle many different deadlines throughout the months and years to ensure nothing is missed (Essential)
- A willingness to learn and adapt as the requirements shift (Essential)
- A desire to keep up to date with local legislation and be comfortable to challenge (Essential).
