The portfolio includes one-time, repeat and recurring payments and enables merchants & consumers from across various market segments to transact in a highly secure and trusted environment.

Your way to impact
You will play a key role in defining and delivering product solutions that ensure we comply with regulatory obligations and parallelly deliver great experiences for customers and good results for our shareholders. This will involve setting the course for engineers as well as influencing across the PayPal product organization to make sure we are taking care of the customer through their full journey. Identifying and building platform-based solutions will be key in helping us succeed in an increasingly complex environment.
Your day to day
In your day to day role you will:

Lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design & Content, Business, Analytics, Product Marketing, Program management, Risk, Compliance and Legal) in defining and delivering solutions that support amazing customer experiences and serve our business while ensuring we comply with regulations across the globe.

Working with an agile scrum team, demonstrate a genuine and passionate desire to execute on detailed requirements or user stories as well as ruthlessly prioritize backlog.

Partner strongly with Engineering to drive product development with an iterative approach to continually build, release, and improve end to end solutions and achieve outcomes.

Work with analytics partners to evaluate experiment and launch outcomes as well as ongoing product performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.
What do you need to bring

Product management experience in Payments, Fintech, or eCommerce.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or other equivalent degree. MBA highly preferred.

Proven track record of launching products that have real business and customer impact.

Strong product thinking, ability to advocate for the best experience and continually make prioritization decisions to focus on the best value for them.

Ability to translate product needs into technical requirements, understand technology dependencies, and discuss technical trade-offs with Engineering

Strong cross-org and cross-functional collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to drive and influence complex decision-making and build consensus

Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to simplify complex technical solutions for human consumption.

Robust problem-solving ability, breaking down complex challenges to find solutions.

Highly comfortable with data and making data-backed product decisions.

Experience/exposure in regulatory compliance related product mgmt. is a plus
